Lysa Legros, Editor and Senior Staff Reporter
Lysa Legros, a senior in the Law and Public Safety Academy, is the Editor of this year’s Maroon Tribune after serving on the newspaper staff for two years. She is happy to be entrusted with brainstorming for the paper this year and helping other students. She is the Secretary of the DMAE chapter INTERACT club, treasurer of the DMAE chapter of JSA, historian for the DMAE National English Honor Society, and a member of several other clubs. Though she is in the Law and Public Safety Academy, she plans to pursue a career in the publishing industry. She enjoys running, playing guitar, and writing short stories. She enjoys the range of experiences different clubs have to offer, and writing for the newspaper because it allows her to learn about varied campus organizations. Ultimately, she loves being part of the newspaper because she believes it is important to serve and contribute to her DMAE community.
