Yuliya Lukava is a freshman in Law & Public Safety Academy of [email protected]. Although she does not have a particular career in mind, interacting with people and helping others always interested her. She relocated to the United States Ukraine just a few years ago and it has been difficult for her to adjust to the new life style. However, being accepted to AE was a major surprise and honor for both Yuliya and her parents. Here at the Academies, her main goal is success in everything she does on and off campus. By writing for the newspaper, Yuliya hopes to improve her writing skills and interaction with people. During the free time outside of school, she enjoys listening to various types of music, spending time with her friends and family, and watching movies of numerous kinds.
