Emilia Wesolowski, Staff Reporter and Assistant Section Editor
Emilia Wesolowski, a junior in the Law and Public Safety Academy, has been a writer and assistant editor of the newspaper since the beginning of the 2017-18 school year. Her most favored events to write about are important current events as well as articles concerning the music and the arts program at the [email protected]. Emilia is the captain of the varsity tennis team, involved in Model UN, and part of the National Honor Society as well as the National English Honor Society. Outside of school, Emilia plays piano, works as a barista, and loves writing on the topic of current events having to do with human rights and the mind of the common teenager. She hopes that The Maroon Tribune helps expand her knowledge of the world of journalism and of current events happening specifically within the schools and township of Englewood.
