Kaya Karibi-Whyte, Senior Section Editor, Staff Reporter
Kaya Karibi-Whyte, who is currently a senior in the Biomedicine Academy, is a first year writer on The Maroon Tribune. She is heavily involved with the Dr. John Grieco Scholarship Fund, former Co-President of the Gender-Sexuality Alliance, and an enthusiastic member of Junior State of America. Outside of school, Kaya enjoys watching teen melodramas, reading, and learning about politics and social issues. She hopes to gain more experience with newswriting through The Maroon Tribune and help to create a more conscious campus through the newspaper.
