Constance Clark, Teacher Advisor
Constance Clark began the school newspaper for DMAE 16 years ago. She is proud of the hard work students put into their reporting, their energy in doing so, and the service these dedicated students provide to chronicling the news and events of Dwight Morrow High School and the [email protected]. Though the paper has changed names, formats, logos, and added a digital presence online at www.maroontribune.org, the integrity of the writing and journalistic standard have remained consistent. Ms. Clark earned her master’s degree in Journalism at Ohio University and worked as a magazine editor in New York City for eight years as her first of several careers before becoming a teacher. She loves the sense of accomplishment each edition of the paper provides – the thrill of another edition completed and all the hard work by students contributing to the process. Outside of school newspaper advising, Ms. Clark is dedicated to teaching and reading literature and to her three children, Alice, Albert and Benjamin, all grown with two married. She loves her practice of yoga, running, and spending time with good friends, including more recent rekindled friendships.
