Alexa Gomez, who is currently a senior in the Biomedicine Academy, is a first year member of the social media staff of The Maroon Tribune. She loves to dedicate her time to Mock Trial as co-captain and to Junior State of America as secretary. In her free time, she volunteers at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center and loves to eat at vegan restaurants with her older brother. Although Alexa choose to be in the Biomedicine Academy, she would rather pursue chemical engineering in the future due to her love for chemistry. Alexa hopes to utilize chemistry to benefit the environment and promote its sustainability. She choose to be a part of The Maroon Tribune this late in her high school career because she was never confident in her writing skills. However, Alexa is glad to be helping out the best way that she can.
