The Maroon Tribune

Tenzin Sangmo

Tenzin Sangmo, a second year member of the Maroon Tribune, is currently a junior in the Law & Public Safety Academy. Fond of reading and writing, she anticipates the close-ups, reviews and arts she will have to cover this year. Her contributions to the newspaper makes her feel part of the school community since she plays a role in making the staff and students aware of the events that happen in and outside of school. Tenzin will move into an editorial position in the second semester. One of the quotes she finds inspirational by his H.H. The Dalai Lama is, “We are visitors on this planet. We are here for ninety or one hundred years at the very most. During that period, we must try to do something good, something useful, with our lives. If you contribute to other people's happiness, you will find the true goal, the true meaning of life.”
