Sarah Yang
Sarah Yang, a senior in the Biomedicine Academy, is the Co-Editor in Chief of The Maroon Tribune for the 2019-2020 school year. Within the school community, she is Secretary General for Model United Nations and president of the National English Honor Society.  Originally born and raised in Tokyo, Japan, Sarah is passionate about utilizing the duality and diversity in her multicultural identity throughout the medium of language and her writing, specifically her poetry, as ways to relearn herself and the world in different ways than before. Sarah's creative writing has been awarded by the National Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, the Poetry Society of the United Kingdom, and National Poetry Quarterly. By being active in The Maroon TribuneSarah is optimistic that she could continuously showcase what DMAE has the promise to be.
