Leticia Wood, a senior in the Pre-Engineering Academy, is the Editor of this year’s Maroon Tribune. She enjoys having a diverse set of extracurricular activities and is president of both the Interact Club and the National English Honor Society. She is also Vice- President of the school’s Junior State of America chapter. Though she is in Pre-Engineering, she does not plan on pursuing it in the future, and instead, is striving toward a career in the sciences. When she is not studying for a class, she enjoys discussing politics and the social conflicts that plague America everyday. She believes that even in a modern society, news is the lens that people look through to learn about the issues in the world and become inspired. Thus, Leticia hopes to provide a lens for the DMAE campus to improve their surroundings by continuing to write for the newspaper until she graduates.
